About the Conference
The Healthy Now Conference is sponsored by the United States Office of Women’s Health, Vision Leadership Institute, and various partner.
The Conference will consist of a training opportunity to include diabetes, lupus, stress management, nutrition, women and addiction, colon cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, HPV, HIV/STI, sexual assault and domestic violence. Massages will be available for two- three hours throughout the day, with ten-fifteen minute intervals. There will be support shops for conference attendees to put a face to the health disparity and ask questions.
This one-day, health promotion conference will educate and equip minority women (ages 18-60) living in Richland, Lexington and Orangeburg Counties, with the information needed to make healthy lifestyle changes that will enhance the quality of life for themselves and their families.
